Join us for the next installment of The City Remembers, a powerful community-driven photography and storytelling project honoring the soul of Downtown Hammond.
This session will be led by Lauren Thiel, founder of The Art Table, local photographer, and artist deeply rooted in capturing the spirit of place and memory.
We’re honored to feature Carolina Burns of Burns Funeral Home as our model—representing legacy, grace, and Hammond’s rich past.
We’ll begin photographing outside the LaSalle Hotel while exploring its layered history and cultural significance. A separate date to enter and photograph inside the hotel will be announced soon.
