Picture this a sea of smiling people, some skating, dancing, shopping, receiving medical screenings, giving blood and eating.
As a community, we are celebrating and remembering the history while also looking forward to our future.
Picture this children having fun on inflatables, adults sliding down a giant sliding board laughing with their children and teens enjoying themselves playing on a gaming truck.
And guess what? People are talking to each other; Attendees are sharing ideas, experiences and stories all on a jubilant Wednesday from morning until 9 pm.
This is the Dellwood Juneteenth experience.
