Following a highly successful debut in 2025, The Circle Sessions returns to the Dothan Opera House on July 25, 2026, bringing another exciting night of original music, storytelling, and competition to the Wiregrass.Last year’s event welcomed an impressive lineup of talented singer-songwriters and delivered an unforgettable experience for both performers and attendees. Building on that momentum, this year’s Circle Sessions promises to be even bigger as artists once again take the stage for a chance to elevate their careers.
Presented by Mitchell Automotive, with support from Visit Dothan, Durden Outdoors, Wiregrass Wealth and Management, Tixr, and Adventureland, The Circle Sessions continues to grow as a premier opportunity for emerging artists.
The Circle Sessions is open to singer-songwriters from across the country, offering a unique platform for artists of all backgrounds to showcase their original music. Whether emerging or established, performers are invited to share their voice and connect with a live audience in the intimate and historic setting of the Dothan Opera House.
Only six applicants will be selected to advance to the final competition. Finalists will compete for a range of career-advancing prizes, including $2,000 for first place and $1,000 for second, professional development opportunities, and performance opportunities at the Porter Park Amphitheater.
The competition remains open exclusively to solo artists and duos, with a maximum of two performers allowed on stage.
