About this Event
the circle | going yin is a seasonal cyclical wellness circle held every new moon through winter, centering the menstrual phase as a time of rest, insight, and renewal.
this is a space to slow down in community, open the year with intention, and turn inward with the wisdom of winter and the body. the circle is non-hierarchical and relational — held without an apex — offering space for reflection, witnessing, and shared exploration of cyclical living.
each gathering includes:
- a seasonal tea blend rooted in astro- and mythopoetic herbalism
- intention setting aligned with the new moon
- a gentle check-in centered on menstrual and cyclical awareness
- a seasonal printout offering reflections and practical support for the current lunar and menstrual phase
we’ll begin by opening the space with intention and settling into the body, then move into shared reflection around what’s been arising in our cycles — emotional, physical, energetic, and seasonal. participation is always invitational, and you’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right.
this circle is an invitation to reclaim the menstrual phase as a meaningful and intelligent threshold — one that mirrors winter, the new moon, and the generative stillness of the void.
open to all bodies, whether you bleed or not. no prior experience with menstrual or cyclical work is needed — only a curiosity about slowing down and listening inward.
each circle stands on its own, and you’re welcome to attend once or return across the winter to deepen your relationship with cyclical living.
who this is for
this circle may resonate if you’re:
- curious about menstrual or cyclical awareness
- longing for intentional, embodied community
- navigating transitions, burnout, or the desire to slow down
- wanting to reconnect with your body’s rhythms and seasonal intelligence
- seeking a non-hierarchical, reflective space without pressure to fix or perform
about the facilitator
this circle is held by mackenzie, founder of mēnē cyclical wellness.
mackenzie offers menstrual and cyclical wellness support grounded in trauma-informed care, embodiment, and seasonal awareness. their work weaves together psychology and counselling foundations, nervous system regulation, intuitive practice, and mythopoetic approaches to cyclical living. they hold space with care, clarity, and respect for each person’s lived experience, honoring the body as a site of wisdom rather than something to optimize or correct.
