About this Event
Polarization is at an all-time high, but hope runs deep for The Church Lab’s dialogue community.
Join Rev. Carrie Graham, founder of The Church Lab (TCL), for an evening reflecting on the lessons she has learned as a pastor and dialogue facilitator for nearly 20 years.
Rev. Graham will share how dialogue has changed lives in TCL, and highlight the elements of those stories that she believes we can all carry into our daily lives.
This inspiring talk is part of Dialogue Institute Austin’s mission to foster understanding, empathy, and meaningful connections in our community.
🎤 About the Speaker
Rev. Carrie Graham has been facilitating peacebuilding dialogues since 2007 and founded The Church Lab (TCL) in 2013. TCL is dedicated to creating accessible spaces for spiritual growth and meaningful dialogue around life’s biggest questions, with a focus on shaping the future of the Church and faith practice in the United States.
Through dialogue workshops and trainings, Rev. Graham has helped countless people strengthen their roles as everyday peacemakers and bridge builders. Her upcoming book on dialogue in daily life is scheduled for release in 2026.
In addition to her work with TCL, Rev. Graham leads interdenominational cohorts of pastors and seminarians, equipping them with tools to take creative and faithful risks in 21st-century ministry. She also serves on the board of Fellowship Southwest.
Previously, she worked as a congregational pastor—both for a church plant and a revitalization effort—and has served as a consultant for churches in Central Texas. She has also held leadership and teaching roles at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary as program director and adjunct instructor.
