Following our recent screening at The Center for National Minority Mental Health Month, we are keeping the conversation going in real time talking all things black intimacy on screen. For the next bridge of PROGRESS, we’re bringing together art historians, curators, and storytellers to explore how the formal principles Kerry James Marshall pioneered on canvas.

The chromatics of belongings explores how we use color and sensory elements to organize, understand, and feel connected to our personal spaces, memories, and society. It combines our physical possessions with the colors of those items to shape our sense of identity and belonging. We’re partnering with The MoCADA museum for our next public screening of PROGRESS on Saturday, September 26th at 6 PM.
