Leya is now old enough to carry out the family tradition of placing the Christmas star on top of the Christmas tree. It started with Leya's great grandfather, who fought in WW2. In 1945, he surprised the family on Christmas morning with his return, bringing with him the beautiful star, which he purchased in Germany during the war. The oldest sibling was given the honor of placing the star, and now Leya will get the honor after her Christmas Eve party.December 8th, 2024
