The Christmas Alternative Book Club

IT'S CHRISSSSSTMAAAAAASSS: Dickens famously wrote in his bestselling novel Oliver Twist's Guide to a Perfect Crimbo. We're celebrating Christmas at the Alternative Book Club with every Christmas-themed book you can think of PLUS literary carols, a mini Jane Austen panto and book-themed Christmas cracker jokes. We're bringing the Christmas spirit (Marley from famous comedy double act Marley and Scrooge) and you can drink the famous Bottle of Sauce Christmas spirits. Grinches also welcome.

Alternative Book Club presents an unconventional comedy night about books where there is absolutely NO required reading. Prepare to be entertained – and informed – by a phenomenal line up of award-winning comics and brilliant friends who will be dissecting anything Lit: from John Milton’s Paradise Lost to Kim Kardashian’s Selfie, and everything in between.
