The Chris Mondak Band

Chris Mondak is a Nashville-based jazz composer and bassist, and a frequent performer at Rudy’s. A 2020 graduate of the New England Conservatory, Chris studied there with jazz legends Cecil McBee and Dave Holland. Chris’s newest CD, Glass Spheres (Summit Records), was recorded at Nashville’s Sound Emporium studio, and released on April 15, 2022. Featuring seven of Chris’s original compositions, Glass Spheres has reached the top 100 on the Jazz Week chart, and #17 on the NACC (college and community radio) jazz chart. Chris’s quartet is known for its dynamic, high-energy performances. The show will include a mix of jazz standards, pieces from Glass Spheres, and new tracks from Chris’s forthcoming jazz-funk project.

This show is 21 and over only. All sales are final and we unfortunately cannot offer any refunds. Additional tickets may be available at the door on the day of the show even if it is sold out online.

Please try to arrive 15 minutes prior to the show start time. If you do not arrive within 45 minutes after the show start time on your ticket your seat may be resold to other patrons at the door. If you arrive after 45 minutes from the start time of the show and your ticket has been resold, although we cannot guarantee it, we will try our best to make space for you to attend the show.
