The Charles Mill Lake Minnow Races

Date: Saturday, August 1st
Time: 2:00 to 4:00 pm
Location: Charles Mill Marina Lower Patio
Entry Fee: $10 per minnow (50% of fees go to charity, 50% go to the winner).
What to Bring: Just yourself, your racing spirit, and some cash for entry fees. We'll provide all the minnows, straws, and racing tracks.
How to Works: Minnows are placed into 10' long "swim lanes". The minnow jockeys (i.e. our contestants) use a straw and blow into the water to motivate their minnow down the track.
The minnow that crosses the finish line first wins the heat. Each entrant will be placed in a tournament bracket and go head-to-head with other contestants.
There is no age limit for the Minnow Races and all are welcome!
