Please join us for an early evening journey with a couple of great song writers and performers. , originally from Oklahoma, artfully blends American influences like Woody Guthrie and Levon Helm with European influences from the cabaret and elsewhere. He’ll be accompanied by his band The Chain Links - Chuck Wasserburg (guitar), Jay Whitehouse (bass), and Sarah Allen (percussion).
Also performing will be singer-songwriter Al Day, a major presence on the Chicago music scene. Al has performed on WTTW and WFMT and plays with one of the city’s most unique and exciting jazz ensembles, The Last Word. He’ll be accompanied by the “master of mystery guitar,” Victor Sanders, who has played with a who’s who of singer-songwriters and helms Lakeside Media, one of Chicago’s legendary studios.
