The Centrepoint Launches The Centrestage: “Artist Story” Series

The Centrepoint is proud to present The Centrestage, a new bi-annual event series designed to bring fresh cultural energy to Orchard Road through live performances, art and community participation. 

Debuting with “Artist Story”, the inaugural edition will run from 21 March to 2 April 2026 at the mall’s Atrium on Level 1. The programme brings together over 20 emerging Singaporean musicians, student performers and interactive art experiences that invite visitors to discover the stories behind each artist’s creative journeys.

As one of Orchard Road’s enduring landmarks, The Centrepoint is an integral part of the precinct’s retail landscape. Through The Centrestage, the mall aims to create moments of cultural discovery and shared experiences that enhance Orchard Road’s vibrancy and encourages visitors to hang out, explore and return. This initiative also reflects Frasers Property Singapore’s commitment to creating retail spaces that go beyond transactions.

This year’s headline acts, Josh Makazo and Shazza, will close each evening with sets that showcase the diversity of Singapore’s emerging music scene. The programme will be hosted by Kiss92 presenter Shaista Dinis and also features performances by rising local talents and student ensembles, including Jason Yu, ANNÉ, Noah Fang, Bernice Ong, Ishbel Warifa, Chelsea Cara, Layyi and ICEBOX.

Visitors can explore a curated art exhibition featuring student works alongside pieces by emerging and established local artists. They can also take part in hands-on workshops on 28 and 29 March to learn artistic techniques and engage with local artists.
