The Cedar Cultural Center Presents: The Global Get Together!
The Cedar is back for our third year with two nights of entertainment at the Minnesota State Fair's International Bazaar! We will feature ALMA ANDINA on Wednesday, August 27th and BRASS SOLIDARITY on Thursday, August 28th, 2025.
Bazaar After Dark starts at 8 PM each night.
BRASS SOLIDARITY
Brass Solidarity is a street brass band built out of a tradition of resilience and community fortitude through music. A convergence of musicians, activists, and community members as a voice for justice and an advocate for Black Lives, the band was birthed from the movement for Black Liberation in George Floyd Square and has been meeting weekly for over five years as a continuous offering to the community. Brass Solidarity builds a board repertoire of songs that can contribute to movement spaces and performs them at events all over the city and region.
