Written by Amanda Whittington, Ladies’ Day is a sparkling comedy-drama. Set against a backdrop of a fish packing factory in Hull, the play follows four ladies who swap their overalls for hats and heels when ​Royal Ascot ​relocates to York Racecourse in 2005.
What begins as a day out at the races soon unfolds into a heartfelt journey of friendship, ambition and self-discovery. Full of humour, warmth and poignancy, Ladies’ Day promises audiences both laughter and touching moments.
