The Care Kitchen: Community Cooking Classes
About this Event
Join SNE Cares for a hands-on community cooking experience designed to make healthy, delicious food feel more accessible, affordable, and achievable.
Through our partnership with 18 Reasons’ Cooking Matters program, participants will learn practical skills for planning, shopping for, and preparing nutritious meals while making the most of their food budget. Together, we’ll explore simple cooking techniques, nutrition basics, food budgeting, and ways to incorporate more fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and other nourishing foods into everyday meals.
This experience is rooted in the belief that food is nourishment, care, culture, creativity, and community. We’ll cook together, learn together, and share a meal together in a welcoming environment where all experience levels are encouraged.
