The Capitol is an original, high-energy 8-piece funk band based in Austin, TX. Blending pop-inspired songwriting with the modern edge of hip-hop, R&B, and neo-soul, their sound is as tight as it is infectious. Known for dynamic live shows and airtight grooves, The Capitol delivers an unforgettable experience every time they hit the stage.

Highlights include a national spotlight with their debut single Vaporize featured in the season 6 finale of Netflix’s Queer Eye, opening for legendary acts like Rebirth Brass Band and Grooveline Horns (Jason Mraz, Zac Brown Band), and a horn section that’s toured nationally with Whiskey Myers.
