The Capital City Big Band Plays the Music of Tito Puente
About this Event
Join us at the Yardbird Suite on November 29, 2026 at 7:30 PM (MST) for an unforgettable evening celebrating the vibrant rhythms and timeless sounds of Tito Puente. Experience the dynamic energy of the Capital City Big Band as they bring to life the iconic music of this legendary Latin jazz icon.
This event honors the rich tradition of Latin jazz, a genre that has been shaped by our incredible feature artist Tilo Paiz, a legendary Salvadoran percussionist and timbalero who has made immense artistic contributions to the Canadian and Salvadoran music scenes.
Don’t miss this spectacular tribute, filled with passion, rhythm, and the spirit of musical excellence!
The Capital City Big Band is grateful to be supported by the Edmonton Arts Council, the City of Edmonton and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
