The Canvas House Social - Costumes & Games Party

We are the Canvas House, an alternative lifestyles social group and we hold our monthly Socials every first Saturday of the month, excluding holidays. We invite anyone in the Los Angeles and Ventura Counties to come and hang out!

This Socials theme is a COSTUMES & GAMING PARTY!!! The day after Halloween is still spooky season and you may as well get all the mileage out of those costumes as possible, or wear your favorite one AND WIN A PRIZE at the Costume Cosntest.

We will also play spooky/ Halloween themed games such as: Truth 'R' Dare Jenga, Super Fight, Stupid Deaths, Horrible Therapists, Halloween Family Feud and Horror Films Trivia.

• Losers choice to: Truth 'R' Dare or Karaoke - Bwahahaha!!
• Costume Costest at 8:00pm

This month’s social will be held at a gorgeous house in the hills above Simi Valley with sweeping views, lush greenery and succulent gardens. Lounge on our back deck overlooking Simi Valley with a drink and chat with some new, interesting people and make connections. We'll provide snacks, soda, water and an alcohol optional "party punch" at each Social and please feel free to bring snacks, a side dish or a dessert to share.

Our location is on the smaller side, and we are allowed up to 35 people. A ticket reservation is required for all attendees, so we can get an accurate count.

BYOB and 420 friendly, but all smoking/ vaping must be outside. Please watch your ashes and use the ashtrays, this is a High Fire Zone.

• ATTIRE: It can get warm here so we recommend light comfy clothing and fabrics but also a light jacket as it can get chilly at night. There is AC inside.
• We also recommend comfortable shoes: athletic, sandals or flats. The driveway is steep and there are many concrete steps up to the front door. Also shoes must be worn on the back deck. Seriously Queens, leave the heels at home!

• PARKING: The house is located on a narrow mountain road, so please park on one side, carpooling/ ridesharing highly recommended

Inebriation will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave.

This is a safe space for LGBTQIA+, POC, and Trans, so behave like good humans, or you WILL be asked to leave and banned.
