The Candlelight Club 1920s speakeasy

Step back in time to the romance of the Jazz Age at London’s award-winning 1920s-themed speakeasy party with live jazz cabaret and cocktails in a secret venue filled with candles where everyone dresses the part.

As the nights draw in and the party season kicks off we’ll be warming up the dance floor with red-hot ragtime music from the seven-piece Trudgeon’s Trad Jazz Troubadours. Leading the revels will be Host With the Most Champagne Charlie with a saucy song and a cabaret swagger who will introduce racy burlesque from Miss Didi Derriere. When the band aren’t playing DJs the Bee’s Knees will be spinning vintage vinyl into the night. In a side room there will also be a pop-up vintage jewellery store sketch artist Sophie and our tarot reader Lucius.

There will also be a complimentary dance lesson from George and Suzi this time looking at jive.

You can come just for drinks and dancing in our secret ballroom in south London but you can also reserve a table with Champagne or book the three-course dinner. There’s even an inclusive-drinks option. Ticket-holders receive an email two days before revealing the secret location (which is close to a tube station). So pull on your flapper dress and get ready to Charleston…
