Danielle is a local biologist living in Winona, MN. She does land conservation work for The Nature Conservancy in the winter and surveys native bees in our state for the Minnesota DNR in the summer. Her specialty is in habitat conservation for native bees. Danielle will talk with us about native bees and the Xerces Society which is an international nonprofit organization that protects the natural world through the conservation of invertebrates and their habitats. She'll also give us ideas on how we can support all invertebrates by creating habitat in our yards.
