Reflections from a NHS Provider on the NHS 10 Year Plan
Host: Peter Lewis
Info: The 10 Year NHS Plan was published last summer. The plan focuses on three shifts: treatment to prevention; hospital to community and analogue to digital. These are not new concepts and most people will recognise their importance. The plan also set out or has led to some significant changes to how the NHS is structured and how it will operate, with a view to enabling the shifts to happen. This session will provide some reflection from the experience of Somerset NHS Foundation Trust and share some thinking about what this means for how we approach the challenges that we all face.
