The Business of Acting Workshop

An intense 4+ hour session with actor/producer/director/casting director, Jessica Ambuehl. With over 350 projects combined on both sides of the camera, she uses decades of experience to teach you the business side of acting. Her passion is to equip performers with the knowledge to shine in the industry, and has been coaching them worldwide for years.

You'll learn / be refreshed on topics like . . .

• The do's and don'ts on set
• Creating your actor's emergency kit
• Understanding casting notices
• Getting to know a call sheet
• Self-tape audition tips and tricks
• How to edit auditions
• Standing out with your actor's toolbox (headshots, resumes, demo reels, websites)
• Finding representation
• Maintaining a healthy relationship with your agent
• Building your brand
• Knowing the lingo

A great workshop for seasoned or new actors as well as those who are with or without agency representation.

*** This workshop does not teach acting techniques.

Two short breaks with drinks and refreshments will be provided during the session.

Both sessions are the same, so only one ticket is needed for the desired timeframe you wish to attend. (8:30 am - 1 pm / 2 pm - 6:30 pm)

Minors under 18 years of age MUST be accompanied by one parent/guardian and purchase the "MINOR AND ONE PARENT" ticket.
