The Brokes are a note-for-note celebration of The Strokes formed in 2022 by five mainstays of the Toronto music world. After debuting to a sellout crowd, demand for the band has steadily increased at home and abroad as their musical precision is matched only by their hard-nosed efforts to win over Strokes fans and build a following outside of the traditional cover-band circuits. The first tribute act to have a feature in the New York Times Style section, The Brokes were profiled in a June 2024 article covering the group's concert in Manhattan's Lower East Side.
