'THE BRAZILIAN MUSIC JOURNEY' - from Choro, to Samba, to Bossanova..

CONCERT + SAMBA DE GAFIEIRA BALLROOM SOCIAL DANCE

Join us on a musical journey through the vibrant and rich sounds of Brazil, as we explore the evolution of Brazilian music from Choro to Bossa Nova, a rich and complex story that spans over a century.

This unique pedagogic concert is designed to engage and educate audiences, while showcasing the unique cultural heritage of Brazil.

The concert will feature a diverse range of musical pieces, showcasing the development of Brazilian music from its early days to its modern forms.

These incredible musicians will attempt to explore all these genres, performing songs from Pixinguina, Paulinho Da Viola, Nelson Cavaquinho, Gilberto Gil, Vinicius de Moraes, Tom Jobim and many more, recalling some of the best interpretations from Gal Costa, Marisa Monte, Elis Regina, Maria Rita, including also the Italian singer, Ornella Vanoni, that few known that, in 1976, recorded a full album with Toquinho and Vinicius de Moraes.

Take some time to get to know and explore this incredible music with these fantastic musicians.

We will also have some space for dance so please, do not hesitate to show us your Samba de Gafieira moves on the night!!
