Once completely separate from neighbouring Liverpool, Bootle has a history of its own. There is a lot of walking involved on this tour as we look at so many sites and stories of historical interest!
More than any other tour, the Bootle walk relies on stories told by local people - long forgotten murders and crimes, local characters, the supernatural, the devasting impact of the wartime Blitz on Bootle, the areas lost Jewish and Indian communities and much more!
