The Bollywood Penthouse Party Vol. III — Toronto's Most Iconic Rooftop, One Night of Bollywood

On Saturday, July 18, The Desi Troop returns to Malaparte — the rooftop event space atop the TIFF Bell Lightbox, modelled after Villa Malaparte in Capri, with floor-to-ceiling windows, an open-air terrace, and a CN Tower skyline that does half the work for you. It's one of Toronto's most exclusive private venues, named the best rooftop space in Canada, and it has hosted some of the city's most star-studded evenings. It rarely hosts Bollywood. We're opening it for one night only — and Vol. III is the third time this terrace fills.

The vibe
Sundowner on the rooftop, straight into the night. Doors at 7 PM for a slow-burn first hour — golden hour, curated cocktails, the city stretching out behind you. By 9 PM the terrace is full and the booth is locked in. DJ Aarmash — the Toronto DJ/producer whose edits and remixes get picked up by Bollywood artists and other DJs inside their own sets — plays alongside DJ EXO, the name behind our sold-out summer rooftops, and together they weave Bollywood into afro, latin and house until the room finds its rhythm somewhere between Andheri and Ibiza.
