Get ready to master the art of bag making with the Bodobo Mini Duffle! In this hands-on class led by Donna, you will combine quilting and garment sewing techniques to create a sturdy, multi-purpose bag you’ll use for years to come.Whether you need a stylish gym bag, a compact weekender, or a dedicated carrier for your latest sewing projects, the Bodobo pattern offers the perfect blend of structure and style. You will learn how to work with Annie’s Soft n’ Stable for that professional "store-bought" feel, install a 22" zipper, and customize your bag with either cotton webbing or handmade fabric straps.
Class Details:
Appleton Location: Monday, April 20th | 10:30 a.m. (Registration deadline: April 16th)
Green Bay Location: Thursday, April 23rd | 10:30 a.m. (Registration deadline: April 20th)
Cost: $25.00 (Pattern and materials must be purchased from Ana’s)
Capacity: Strictly limited to 6 students per location to ensure personalized instruction.
What to Bring: Please arrive with your sewing machine in good working order, a zipper foot, and your standard sewing kit (scissors, seam ripper, marking pen, and rotary cutter). Essential materials include the Bodobo pattern, fabric, Soft n’ Stable, a 22" zipper, and 1" cotton webbing (or fabric to create your own). If you have a quilt bar for your machine, bring it along to help with the quilting process!
Important Note: To support our local studio and ensure you have the correct supplies for success, all patterns and fabrics for this class should be purchased directly from Ana’s Sewing Studio. You do receive a 15% class discount.
