The Board Game Comedy Hour

Grant Lyon, a touring professional comedian from Comedy Central, Comic’s Unleashed, the SyFy Channel, and more, is also a huge board game lover! His comedy album Scheduled Fun Time hit number one on the comedy charts and has made him the featured artist of the month on multiple SiriusXM channels. He’s performed in 45 states and is recognizable from numerous national TV commercials. During the pandemic, he started making videos about the board games he loves, and now he has over 200,000 followers across his Grant’s Game Recs platforms. He's the co- designer of the party game Curmudgeon, published by 25th Century Games, and he writes jokes for a lot of the games you see on the shelves of places like Target (Would You Rather, That’s What She Said, and more). For the Uirst time ever, Grant is putting his 18 years of standup comedy experience into a standup show all about board games. If you’re a gamer, these are jokes for you! He’ll even lead the entire room in a big group game to end the night.

Our shows features a nationally touring comedian, along with a feature act and host. Shows generally last about an hour and a half in time.

• All shows are 21 and over only with valid ID. No exceptions.
• There is 2 item minimum per person at all shows. (Food and drink items count towards the minimum)
• Doors open 30-45 min prior depending on showtime
• Some food options are available for purchase at the club as well (Nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, etc)
• No heckling/disruptions allowed during the show, we reserve the right to remove anyone as needed

IS THERE A DRINK/ITEM MINIMUM? Yes, we have a two item minimum per person. Food and drink items count towards the minimum. Non-alcoholic drinks count as well.

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT? Yes, the show is for mature audience members 21and over, with valid ID, only. No exceptions.

CAN I MAKE A RESERVATION? No, we do not accept reservations. The only way to guarantee a seat to a show is to buy a ticket in advance on our web site.

SHOW IS SOLD OUT, WHAT CAN I DO? Our shows do sell out, so it is always best to buy tickets in advance. If it is showing shold out here on Eventbrite, you can check for tickets on our web site at RoosterTFeathers.com as well. If both places are sold out, you can come to the venue early and wait to see if there is a cancellation, but there are no guarantees.

WE'RE A LARGE GROUP, CAN WE SIT TOGETHER? We do not accept any type of reservations for groups. If you have a large group and are wanting to sit together for the show, we recommend buying all the tickets in advance, and arriving early (45 min to 1 hour before the show) to have your best chance of sitting together as a group. We will always do our best to seat you as close as possible, but THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES.

WHAT SHOWS ARE CONSIDERED "SPECIAL EVENT"? Special Event status will be noted on the show's information page. No coupons or passes can be used for "special events."

WHERE CAN I PARK? Roosters offers unlimited free parking in front of the club on El Camino, in the adjacent Goodyear parking lot, and across Murphy St. in the Allario Shopping Center lot.
