Yep, I guess I didn't blow anyone's ears off the first time! Back at Stingo Blues as feature artist ripping through (relatively) straight up blues tunes of my biggest influences — Robben Ford, Kirk Fletcher, Jimmie Vaughan and more.

…played guitar with and recorded across many genres for several artists across Melbourne, Victoria and the world, including with several modern r&b outfits, modern jazz Hammond combos, his own fusion band Skink, Urban Praise gospel choir, blues with Andrea Marr and Kate Meehan, 10 years in jazz funk outfit Pickpocket, plus stints with street funk act Deep Street Soul and soul singer Chelsea Wilson, touring to New Caledonia, Glastonbury, London and Paris respectively.

Neil’s own Southern States soul/funk act Hawker Heights has also recently returned to Melburnian stages (and floors with lights over them), after having recorded a jazz-blues-orientated debut album ‘South by East’ in 2017 that hit #2 on the ABARAC chart within the first week of release. Yeah, it morphed somewhat.
