The next STLBlues curated show at the National Blues Museum is all about mentoring the next generation of musicians, as the School of Rock - Kirkwood presents 'The Blues had a Baby, and named it Rock and Roll'!
From the School of Rock - "The connection between rock and blues is a crucial one. Without the blues, rock might have never come to be and ever since the creation of rock, the two genres have influenced each other and stayed intertwined. At School of Rock, we focus on teaching rock, blues and other adjacent genres so being able to perform at the National Blues Museum and educate about the connection between rock and blues is an honor that our students are definitely excited for!"
