Exciting news, everyone! The Blue Cat Rhythm and Soul Club is turning TWO, and we're throwing a blowout celebration that you won't want to miss! Sunday, 28th September, at the Southport Coaster, located at 137-141 Lord Street, Southport, PR8 1PU. For an unforgettable afternoon and evening with some of the grittiest Rhythm and Blues, 60s soul, Ska, and much more, and it's all for just £3.00! You read that right: only THREE POUNDS, crazy, I know!
We are incredibly excited to welcome three heavyweight guest selectors for our celebration. Please welcome Pete Everett from The Sink Rhythm & Soul Club, Wang Dang Doodle's very own Rob Austin Powner and Joe Tucker of 3 Keys Modernist Collective, who will be joining forces with our much-loved resident DJs to deliver a soundtrack that's genuinely all killer, no filler. (I've always wanted to say that)!
But wait, there's more! If you're a record dealer or just someone who appreciates good vinyl, make sure to stop by our "Record Bar." Bring your sales box, sift through an incredible collection of records, and you might unearth that elusive gem for your collection!
Here's the cherry on top: during Ste's Celebration of Life event back in July, a stunning portrait was donated by a dear friend of the club, John Lusikin. We have run our mini auction, and during this event, we will announce the lucky winner. Don't miss your chance to place a bid—who knows that masterpiece could be yours!
