Hey, we’re Nick & Kimelia, the creators of Brilliant or BS? and The Blackout Game Night.
We started this movement to shine a light on dope Black game creators and build spaces where laughter, community, and creativity take center stage.

Now we’re pulling up to Ora Urban Café — a beautiful Black-owned community space that’s all about wellness, creativity, and belonging. If you haven’t been, this is your sign. Ora is Leimert Park’s hidden gem — equal parts coffeehouse, culture hub, and safe space for real connection.

So here’s the vibe:

🖤 Games on Games on Games – From hilarious icebreakers to deep-cut strategy gems, we’re bringing our collection of 75+ games by Black designers.

💬 Good People & Real Connection – Come solo, come with your crew — either way, you’ll leave with new friends and maybe a few friendly rivals.

☕ Food & Drinks from Ora – Sip, snack, and unwind with handcrafted drinks and bites that feed the soul (and keep your game face sharp). Kitchen open until 8:15pm

🎶 Black Joy in the Air – Music, laughter, a little trash talk, and a lot of love. Because joy is resistance — and we play with purpose.
