The Black SEL Summit Block Party

The Black SEL Summit Block Party is a vibrant community initiative aimed at providing culturally affirming SEL experiences to Black communities. Our formation block party will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 6:00pm-11:00pm at Durham Central Park in the heart of downtown Durham, NC and will mark the culmination of a two-day summit dedicated to celebrating Black educators, community leaders, and essential stakeholders who are actively promoting Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in schools and communities. Open to the public, this free event offers an opportunity for attendees to engage with various vendors, showcasing products, services, and initiatives that align with our mission of empowering Black individuals through SEL.
