About this Event
Join us for the Black Health Equity Research Symposium!
Get ready for an inspiring day focused on strengthening Black health research collaborations and setting shared priorities. This in-person event brings together Black-led organizations, health service users, researchers, and allies to share ideas, insights, and strategies for working collaboratively to establish health research priorities with and for Black communities. This symposium builds on the work of The Kona Project and offers space to connect, learn, and help push the conversation forward!
We are honoured to feature Dr. OmiSoore Dryden as our keynote speaker. Dr. Dryden holds the CIHR Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Anti-Racism in Health Professions Education and Practice at Dalhousie Universityβs School of Nursing and is a nationally recognized leader in anti-racism and health equity.
