“Poison or Snack? A Forager’s Panel” is so much more than a meet and greet. It’s your chance to get curious, ask the questions you’ve been not dying to ask, and learn from some of the Midwest’s most knowledgeable and beloved foragers. Join Alexis Nelson and her dear friends Samuel Thayer, Linda Black Elk, Chef Alan Bergo, Luke Black Elk, and Tim Clemens for an unforgettable conversation about wild foods, foraging, foodways, culture, and the deep connections between people and the land. Whether you’re a seasoned forager, a curious beginner, or simply wondering what’s safe to eat, come ready to listen, learn, laugh, and maybe leave with a new appreciation for the wild foods growing all around us.

Important Note: Books will be pre-signed. There will be no on-the-spot signing. We ask that there be no hugs, handshakes, or other physical contact. Standard photo-line etiquette is perfectly fine, and event staff will help facilitate photos!
