Join the Black Canni movement this fall if you are interested in building your cannabis platform, integrating healing services, learning about the risk and adverse effects for youth, and cultivating, and manufacturing of hemp-derived products. If you are a change maker and want to advocate for social equity policy in Maryland, please join our circle discussions.
The Black Canni is a two (2) day convening of Black-led cannabis healers, innovators, cultivators, business owners, and policymakers. This forum holds a safe space to have honest conversations about the global history of cannabis and its disposition, criminalization, and stigmatization, its current role in health and healing, and its multiple implications in the production and sustainability of hemp products.
Health and hemp both play significant roles in the cannabis plant, each contributing to various aspects of wellness and industry. In summary, cannabis and hemp offer a range of health benefits and applications, from therapeutic uses of cannabinoids for different medical conditions to the nutritional and industrial uses of hemp-derived products.
Continued research into the potential health effects of cannabis compounds is promising and exciting. The Living Well is partnering with Tetragram to conduct a survey focused on the impact of cannabis use on managing autoimmune conditions in people of color. Come and share your experience with using cannabis as a tool for pain management, anxiety, and sleep challenges.
