The Black Author Book Club
About this Event
Looking for a friendly space to dive into amazing reads? Our book club is all about uplifting the voices of Black authors and diversifying our reading roster.
Did you know black authors accounted for just 14 of the 1,000 best selling authors of 2026 so far? So often they are overlooked despite having incredible stories to share, that's where we come in!
Come hang out, share your thoughts, and discover your new favourite black authors with fellow book lovers. Whether you read every day, never at all or just need a push to get back into it all the girlies are welcome! 🌸
Each month we vote to select a fiction book,
THIS MONTHS BOOK IS:
when no one is watching - Alyssa Cole. A New York Times best selling psychological thriller about a rapidly gentrifying neighbourhood in Brooklyn.
£5 venue hire paid directly to them on arrival.
Consider getting our book of the month from the library or second hand to be kind to your pocket and the environment!
