The Bitter Fringes: She-Nanigans with Edel Carey, Jessie Fletcher and Oonagh McGinn

In an exciting breach of NI societal norms, dictating only one woman may exist on a comedy line up (if they’re lucky).
The Bitter Fringes gladly presents a three woman show; Edel Carey, Jessie Fletcher and Oonagh McGinn share a stage to showcase some of the best comedy from women in NI.
• Oonagh is a 39 year old teenager who still thinks there’s a chance she could become an international popstar. She’s desperate to be told she’s perimenopausal so she can blame her behaviour on that instead of the fact that her dad is dead.
• Jessie Fletcher used to be a boy but thankfully she is on the road to a full recovery, unfortunately she is still acutely English and even private health care and 18 years living in Ireland can't fix that.
• It has only taken 8 months of performing comedy to entirely dismantle a 40year reputation as a good Catholic girl, and Edel has thoroughly enjoyed each sinful minute of it.
