The Big Toddle: Step Up for Little Feet

The Big Toddle is an annual community fundraising event organized by College-Montrose Children's Place (CMCP) that brings together over 400 attendees, their families, local businesses, and the broader community to support CMCP.

This year marks the 8th annual event, which was initially known as the “Family Fun Festival.”

Our goal for this year is to raise $30,000 to help save our home and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality free early learning and family support programs.

Starting on July 13th, participants will have six weeks to fundraise, culminating in a fun-filled event day on August 17th at Trinity Bellwoods Park from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

• Secure CMCP’s Home: With Artscape entering receivership and our spaces being put up for sale, securing our home is now more critical than ever. Without immediate support, CMCP faces the risk of losing its location, jeopardizing the continuation of our essential services. Funds raised are crucial to ensure we have a stable and permanent place to continue serving our community.

• Strengthen Family Stability and Well-being: Support CMCP to offer crucial support services that help families navigate challenges, build stronger bonds, and create a stable and nurturing environment for their children.

• Build a Supportive and Engaged Community: The event encourages families, businesses, and community members to come together, fostering a sense of unity and collective effort in supporting local families and children.

• Increase Awareness of CMCP’s Impact: Participation helps raise awareness of CMCP’s essential role in supporting families and children, highlighting the positive impact of our programs and services.

• Create Lasting Memories: Enjoy a fun-filled day with your children and family at Trinity Bellwoods Park.

• Engage in Healthy Outdoor Activities: Promote physical fitness and well-being through participation in outdoor activities.

• Teach Children Community Involvement: Instill the values of giving back and community engagement in your children.

• Connect with Other Families: Build a supportive network by connecting with other families and community members.

• Support a Worthy Cause: Help us reach our $30,000 fundraising goal to continue delivering high-quality early learning and family support programs.
