The Big Summer ShowcaseThis Showcase will mark the culmination of a four month collaboration which has brought together some of East Anglia’s most talented young singers.
In March, singers aged between 9 to 18 auditioned for a place in this exclusive singing group. As soloists they each captivate audiences across East Anglia and now, with bespoke arrangements written to showcase their unique timbres, will come together.
Ashley Dance Company describe them self as "one big dance family" and can’t wait to bring their expertise and enthusiasm to The Apex stage. Run by ex Pineapple Dance Studio pro Ashley Smith in her home town of Thetford for 5 years, the company offers ballet, tap, jazz, acro, musical theatre and contemporary to aspiring dancers, many of whom graduate to careers in the industry. This crew will take a break from their busy competition timetable to entertain us with high energy and breath taking routines.
Suffolk Soul Sisters Choir has 60+ members and sing contemporary songs. They launched in April 2023 and their director Sophie Garner is full time singer, vocal coach, wellbeing creative arts specialist, and three times published author. With a career spanning 35 years, she has toured internationally, released four albums, coached on ITV's The Voice Kids and was the very first artist to play the main stage at London's O2 Arena, beating Bon Jovi by one week!
