The Big Share 2025

Join us at The Big Share, an evening dedicated to celebrating community, compassion, and collective action. Hosted by Community Human Services, one of Pittsburgh's leading nonprofit housing providers, this event promises live music, delicious food, and an opportunity to make a tangible difference.

This year, we are proud to present the Third Annual Phil Pappas Humanitarian Award, honoring an individual who embodies one of CHS' late founders, Phil Pappas, and his legacy of generosity, civic responsibility, and community leadership. The award recognizes someone who has shown exceptional commitment to improving the quality of life in our community, particularly in the areas of housing and food security.

In addition to honoring remarkable humanitarian efforts, The Big Share directly supports our Oakland Food Pantry, which served 5,926 unduplicated individuals this past fiscal year. Your participation helps us continue this crucial work, ensuring that our neighbors have access to the food and resources they need.
