Dieses Jahr feiern die beiden einflussreichsten Alben der zwei wichtigsten Bands des BritPop ihren 30. Geburtstag – „Definitely Maybe“ von Oasis und „Parklife“ von Blur. „Supersonic“, „Girls & Boys“, „Live Forever“ und „End Of A Century“ waren der Ausdruck des Lebensgefühls einer ganzen Generation und der Soundtrack eines neuen kulturellen Aufbruchs in Großbritannien, dessen Einfluss bis heute nachwirkt.
Wir zelebrieren diese beiden ikonischen Alben eine Nacht lang. Mit Songs aus allen Schaffensperioden von Blur und Oasis sowie von vielen weiteren Bands aus der BritPop-Ära und der Zeit davor bis zu heutigen Acts, die von Albarn, Gallagher und Co. beeinflusst sind.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the two most influential records by the two most important bands of BritPop – "Definitely Maybe" by Oasis and "Parklife“ by Blur. "Supersonic", "Girls & Boys", "Live Forever" and "End Of A Century" were the musical expression of a whole generation’s sentiment and the soundtrack of a new cultural dawn in the UK that is still perceptible today.
We celebrate these iconic albums for one night. With songs from Oasis’s and Blur’s whole careers, by other bands of the BritPop era and before, and by current acts who have been influenced by Albarn, Gallagher & co.
