Join Lucy aka The Nottingham Forager for another Big Mushroom Hunt!
Together we will search for edible fungi and look at safe identification, sustainable foraging and legalities surrounding mushrooms.
We meet at the cafe at Highfields Park near the boating lake and golf course. Easily accessible by bus and tram and there's free parking on site.
Your are welcome to bring a bag, basket or tub for your foraged finds. If you wish to bring a knife with you, please bring a suitable folding one that's legal to carry and be sure to watch what you do with it. I'll have some available to borrow on the day too.
The session is Pay As You Feel with a suggestion of -
£10pp for Adults
£5pp for those on low income
Free for anyone under 18
These are suggestions only, I also welcome none-monetary payment such as home made goodies, home grown vegetables (in particular potatoes!!) crafts, poems, sing me a song, perform a dance, high fives and handshakes.
