About this Event

A WORLD OF ADVENTURES!
Saturday 22 June + Sunday 23 June / East Park, Hull

In Hull Libraries every book contains a world of adventures! You just need somewhere comfy to sit or lie, open your book and hey presto, you’re up and away!

At the Big Malarkey Festival, there’s an adventure in every tent!

Come to the Big Top to meet authors, artists, musicians and more, with amazing stories to tell. In our smaller tents, you can play with words to write poetry, or stories, or make music, you could try some wonderful craft, drawing, digital wizardry and much more.

If you need a break, you can just lie back with our Cloudscapes friends and let your mind travel through the sky or pull up a beanbag in the Library tent and dive into a book.

Where might your Malarkey adventure take you?
