World Cup Fest
World Cup fever will hit High Street Kensington! A free football festival will be hosted on the same day as our event just one street down! The aromas and flavours of the competing nations – from Brazilian steaks and Mexican tacos to Spanish paella - will provide a tempting choice at the event’s global street food pop-up, alongside a dedicated ‘football zone’ with a DJ and games galore. The all-day event will feature a giant 14-person table football, fun sub-soccer pods (a table football game played with your feet), a spin-to-win game (with amazing prizes up for grabs) plus a skills showcase by a freestyle footballer. There will be a world-flag face-painting artist plus a multitude of cultural performances including samba dancers and musicians. Providing the perfect base for a football-themed day, the festival will run alongside the regular vintage market – offering the ideal opportunity to pick up a retro football shirt – before an early evening kickabout in one of the many local parks. Attention can then turn to the England v Panama game, with many of Kensington’s favourite venues including Passyunk, the Britannia, Scarsdale and The Greyhound screening the match.

Doing away with expensive replicas and focusing on quality and affordability, this bustling curated street market provides an antidote; a celebration of mid-century living from the 50s and beyond, topping it all off with some street food to keep you fuelled throughout the day.
With traders coming from all over the UK, expect to see barware and kitchenalia, textiles and fabrics, cameras, record players and radios, cocktail glasses and ceramics, posters and magazines, vinyl, lampshades, mirrors and more - there's something for everyone.
