The Big Gay Picnic: Pride Edition

July’s Big Gay Picnic is keeping it cute, casual, and delightfully low-pressure. With San Diego Pride season in full sparkle mode (parties, events, raves, parades, festivals, planning, glitter, hydration reminders, and at least one friend who “might stop by”) we’re giving the community a place to slow down and breathe.
This month's picnic is a relaxed throwback to the early BGP days: no partner booths, no welcome table production, no raffle frenzy, no games schedule, no big to-do. Just community, music, sunshine, blankets, snacks, and a safe place to exist fabulously in public.
We'll have our BGP DJ bringing the vibes, our usual potluck table for anyone who wants to share a dish or drinks, and local Pop-Rock artist Justin Renaissance joining us to sing songs from his discography.
Look for the rainbow Pride flags along the front of the picnic area! Bring your picnic spread, bring something to sip or share if you’d like, and come lounge with your people.
