The Big Five & Stop The Bleed: For After School Programs/On Campus Programs 

September 29, 2026 - 9:00am - 1:30pm 

Audience: Staff at After School Programs, Coaches & Athletic Staff, Extra Curricular Staff and Program Staff holding activities on School Campuses. Suitable for Campus Aides, Campus Supervisors and Crossing Guards. 

Breakfast and Lunch Provided 


This training is designed as an introduction to The Big Five for school staff and after school staff that play an important role in keeping campuses safe. Participants will receive an overview of The Big Five, Hazard Response Protocols,Trauma Informed and Inclusive Practices, Incident Command Structure and how to implement The Big Five after hours. Tabletop scenarios will provide opportunities to apply concepts and strengthen understanding.  Participants will have a special opportunity to get trained in Stop the Bleed, to be able to recognize life-threatening bleeding and respond quickly and effectively to control it.
