Prashant is an ex-Intel engineer turned DJ, choreographer, singer, and community organizer in Portland, Oregon. His personality and charisma instantly strike a chord with audiences of any age or background.

He is known for an enthralling all VIDEO DJ set with interactive dance lessons and performances seamlessly woven into an irresistible blend of the world's greatest dance music. His agenda is simple - bring community and cultures together to create connections on the dance floor, and get you dancing longer, and harder than you ever thought possible!

Ekta is a singer, dancer, model and an actor. She recently moved to Portland around a year ago. She is a Chartered Accountant by profession and used to work at Yashraj Films in Mumbai. Ekta has been involved in entertainment at various levels and has done more than 200 live singing shows and was a model at Portland Fashion Week recently. She has also acted in the Bollywood movie JayeshBhai Jordar.

Her family has a YouTube channel dedicated to singing named “The Joshi Family”.

Founded in 2010 by Prashant, an immigrant turned DJ, & like-minded friends, Jai Ho! is a celebration of Indian music & dance like no other.

Creating a safe & celebratory space is our priority at every event we host.

We would love for you to be an accomplice of ours by greeting & treating everyone you meet like you would like to be treated, with equality, mutual respect, and a big smile.
