About this Event
Come join us at Greyfriars Kirkyard for family-friendly fun and relaxed drop-in drawing sessions in this iconic historic graveyard! There are two free drop-in sessions:
Saturday 08 Oct 11.00am -15.30pm
Tuesday 18 Oct 11am- 15.30pm
What to expect:
Participants will have the opportunity to explore Greyfriars, using traditional and contemporary drawing and printing techniques to create artwork inspired by the Kirkyard. Suitable for all ages. and no previous experience is necessary. Materials will be provided and available from our base in the main hall of Greyfriars Kirk.
All submitted artwork will form part of an online exhibition in November.
Accessibility & Family Friendly Facilities
Greyfriars Kirkyard is an outdoor space, however our base will be in the Kirk with access to a bathroom and seating.
Greyfriars Kirkyard is a historical outdoor space and may not be accessible for everyone due to the uneven ground. There are some stone steps in the kirkyard, however there is street level access via a cobbled path on Candlemakers Row.
