The Big Bethany Sleep Out is back for another year! If you're new to The Big Bethany Sleep Out fundraising event, it is an event that challenges you to get out of your comfort zone. For one night, we ask you to sleep outside in order to raise awareness of the realities of homelessness in Scotland.
This year, we are sleeping out on Friday 13th March, from 9pm-8am on Saturday 14th March.
You can participate in the Sleep Out at one of our locations, including:
- Edinburgh, at the Edinburgh City Chambers
- Glasgow, at the Glasgow City Chambers
- Dumfries, at the BCT Office
- Glenrothes, at the Kingdom Shopping Centre
OR sleep out 'At Home', in your back yard or garden.
There are three different ways to sign up. You could sign up as a:
- Bethany Hero. This includes hot drinks and snacks throughout the night, as well as a wee breakfast!
- Super Supporter. This includes hot drinks and snacks throughout the night, a Bethany beanie and travel mug, as well as a wee breakfast.
- Bethany Hero Youth. This is for anyone aged 12-18 and includes hot drinks and snacks throughout the night, as well as a wee breakfast! A responsible adult, parent, or carer, must be present.
Please note:
'At Home' Bethany Hero participants will receive an event pack including snacks, a selfie banner, and some activity sheets to keep you busy on the night!
'At Home' Super Supporter participants will receive an event pack including snacks, some activity sheets to keep you busy on the night, as well as a Bethany beanie and travel mug!
Once you've signed up, a fundraising page will be created for you. Please share the link with all your friends, families, and colleagues. Last year, we smashed our overall fundraising target out the park, raising over £38,000. Could you help us raise even more this year?
